LDFA Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

LDFA (Linux Desktop for Android, application ID com.hatake716.linuxdesktop, the “App”) is provided by hatake716 (the “Developer”) and runs a Linux desktop environment on Android devices.

1. Information We Collect

The App has no feature that collects personal information for, or automatically sends it to, the Developer.

2. Network Access

The environment setup feature downloads the Debian operating system and packages from their repositories, including additional software such as Google Chrome and Node.js as part of user-initiated Linux installation. Download servers receive connection information such as the IP address. The Developer does not operate an analytics collection feature. Any network activity the user performs inside the Linux environment (web browsing, logging into CLI tools, etc.) is governed by the privacy policies of those respective services.

3. Data Stored on the Device

Linux environments (Debian files, settings, and user-created data) are stored only in the App’s private storage on the device. Backups (.ldfa) are saved in Downloads/LinuxDesktop on Android 10 and later, or in app-specific storage on Android 8–9. Backups are not encrypted. They are not automatically sent to a Developer server; user-initiated copying or sharing through another service is subject to that service’s practices. Uninstalling the App deletes its private data, including backups kept in app-specific storage on Android 8–9.

4. Permissions

5. Children

The App is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.

6. Changes

Changes to this policy will be announced on this page.
